I can think of no better person to help make decisions for the children of Winthrop than Alicia Lawson. Why?
1. Alicia has incredible integrity. She’s honest and loyal, and that goes deep. Seeker of truth, she is always researching, questioning and this is exactly what we need as the voice of reason on the Winthrop school committee.
2. Education has always been a priority in Alicia’s life. She never stops learning. She continues to take courses in areas of interest to her. Her children share a love of learning and are constantly on the lookout for opportunities to explore, study and develop their minds.
3. It prioritizes the needs of children. When one of her five children presented the need for homeschooling, she took on that responsibility and put her needs first. I have no doubt that this concern will reverberate through the children of the Winthrop School District.
Write to “Alicia Lawson” for the Winthrop Board of Education on November 2nd.
