Greater Graycen (Arkansas Economic Developers and Chamber Executives)

Greater Graycen, a board member of the Black River Technical College Foundation at Pocahontas, has been named to the board of the Arkansas Economic Developers & Chamber Executives. Bigger, who will represent the 1st congressional district on the board, is also the executive director of the Northeast Arkansas Regional Intermodal Authority.

michelle smith (Dillard University)

michelle smith was appointed director of the Center for Minority Health and Health Equity Research at Dillard University in New Orleans. A native of Little Rock, Smith will work to expand research and improve the quality of health for racial and ethnic minorities.


Vicki Walker

Vicki Walker (Arkansas STEM Coalition)

Vicki Walker was selected to represent Arkansas on the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators State Advocacy Network. Walker is Associate Director of Financial Aid and Enrollment at the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine at Arkansas State University at Jonesboro.


Katie Holley joined the Arkansas STEM Coalition as the new Development and Program Coordinator. Holley has 15 years of experience and previously worked at the Little Rock Zoo and the Arkansas Methodist Foundation.


Shelley Shorts

Shelley Shorts (Arkadelphia Regional Economic Development Alliance and Area Chamber of Commerce)

Shelley Shorts is the new President and CEO of the Arkadelphia Regional Economic Development Alliance and the region’s Chamber of Commerce. Short previously served as vice president of programs and partnerships, and will also serve as CEO of the Clark County Economic Development Corporation.

CJRW of Little Rock has made three new recruits. Carpenter Shauna was hired as a website and digital asset project manager. Carpenter has 15 years of experience, most recently as Director of Communications for the Arkansas State Employees Association in Little Rock. Cori Keller joined as the new Customer Services Account Coordinator. Keller is also a freelance reporter for ESPN. Keonia White is a new social media project manager. White was previously a senior time and expense operations associate at Aerotec of Little Rock.


Derrick Kelly

Derrick Kelly (Harps Food Stores Inc.)

Derrick Kelly has been named the new East Oklahoma District Manager for Harps Food Stores Inc. of Springdale. Kelly has been with Harps since 2003, where he started as a dairy manager.
